Joe Carnahan's first film Narc just blew me away. From the opening hand-held shot to the tense conclusion, it was challenging and hard-hitting stuff, but with characters who felt much more than action movie cyphers. Well, the director's latest film, Smokin' Aces, is out, and it promises more action, but with a lighthearted undercurrent, too.

Here are some promo and behind-the-scenes shots from the film with one of its stars Alicia Keys. Alicia plays an assassin who impersonates a call girl. I just adore those PVC boots!

Rihanna A Diva?

Rihanna has been labelled as the new Beyonce, but who knew that the SOS babe would turn into a diva?.

The Daily Mirror reports that Rihanna showed her Diva side at Nottingham's Oceana club after playing the city's Hallam FM Arena on Monday.

Rihanna demanded the VIP section be cleared, champagne on the house, and burgers available to eat.

When staff politely pointed out that they weren't a fast-food joint, the 18-year-old ordered her people to get a takeout.

Oceana's deputy manager Barry James tells us: "Rihanna was an absolute nightmare, she was being a right diva.

"She turned up unexpectedly and her management ordered us to clear the entire VIP section. They wouldn't let anybody within about five foot of her.

"Then she demanded burgers for all 17 of her entourage and when we explained we weren't a burger bar she sent someone out to McDonald's.

"Rihanna and her people also expected free Dom Perignon champagne and vodka all night. In the end we had to ask them to leave if they weren't going to buy any drinks at all - at which point they dipped in their pockets.

"We wouldn't have minded if she hadn't been such a nightmare."

Scarlett & Mark, Business Or Pleasure?

Scarlett Johansson was spotted having an intimate lunch with Mark Wahlberg reports The Sun.

The actress, 22, was spotted with Mark, 35, on a balcony in Beverly Hills before they went inside together for more than an hour.

An onlooker said: “They seemed very close. I wonder if it could be the start of a blossoming romance.”

However, Johansson's rep told E!Online that it was just business.

"It was a meeting for a potential project," the rep says.

Johansson recently split from her longtime boyfriend Josh Hartnett. She has also been linked to Justin Timberlake after agreeing to star in the video for his latest single, "What Goes Around."

Diddy Meets Sienna

Sienna Miller and rap star Diddy were caught sneaking into her hotel at 9am after a night of clubbing reports The Sun.

The pair — who recently met at a film festival — were seen laughing and joking as they pulled up outside in a car in New York.

There is no suggestion the pair are romantically linked. But when he realised they had been spotted by photographers, he sent his security men over to ask them to delete the pics.

Diddy then went over himself and insisted he was simply giving Sienna a lift.
He said: "Man, I was just being a gentleman and dropping her off.
"Yeah, we all hang out together but there’s no more to it than that."

Diddy then followed her into the hotel and wsa not seen until another 45 minutes.

The sighting comes as Sienna denies rumours she is dating Scarlett Johanssons former lover Josh Hartnett.

Shilpa Shetty Talks About Her Bullying

Shilpa Shetty talked about her time in the Big Brother house to the Daily Mirror.

Shetty said the alleged racist bullying in the house was not a battle of race, but between "right and wrong".

She told the Daily Mirror she had no idea the bullying was so bad until she watched the complete footage of what was happening.

And she said bullies Jade Goody and Jo O'Meara must seek "professional help" to overcome their problems.

She told the newspaper: "I'd no idea it was so bad. They are so mean. Why didn't someone stop them? It hurts me deeply. Look at me ... I am shaking.

"This is so petty, so juvenile, so nasty. There is hatred there and that hurts deeply. Only now, this is sinking in. I am someone who has never been judgmental, but Jade's behaviour is obnoxious, very aggressive, nasty and suffocating."

She asked: "Why are they laughing? Why did no one step in to help? What had I done that was so wrong? Can you believe this is the epitome of womanhood? I can't believe women will act like that. It's totally alien to me."

Talking about the divides between the housemates, Shilpa added: "It was not a battle between brown and white. It was a battle between right and wrong. And right won.

"Jade and Jo need professional help, not condemnation. I am someone who believes in karma ... what you have sowed will be repaid.

"Danielle I'm still ok with. What she did was horrible and upsetting, but she's very young and stupid.

"It was so apparent who started the rift ... Jade. I don't think she did it consciously but it was to make sure she didn't get nominated by the girls."

In the ratings war Big Brother pulled in 7.3million viewers, while Richard Hammond’s high-speed dragster crash on Top Gear peaked at at 8.6million.

The unofficial overnight figures mean CBB had a 20.9% of viewers and Top Gear 27.8%.

Mika is a non-mover as he still #1 with Grace Kelly in the Singles Charts.

Meanwhile in the Album Charts, Scottish rock band The View have made it to the top spot. The Good The Bad The Queen were at #2 with their self titled album.

Shilpa Shetty Triumphs In Celebrity Big Brother Final

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty emerged as the winner of Celebrity Big Brother.

The runner up was Jermaine Jackson followed by A Team actor Dirk Benedict.

Shetty - who claims to be the Anjelina Jolie of Bollywood - screamed with shock and excitement as the result was announced.
Speaking after her interview she said Jade "is not a racist."

Shetty handled herself elegantly as she watched footage of the abuse she received from some of the housemates saying "humans make mistakes."

In an interview with Sunday magazine, actress Demi Moore revealed that she works out less than she used to.

She has spent an estimated £226,500 on plastic surgery including a boob job and liposuction.

The 44 year old used to train six times a week to get her gorgeous bod.
She says "I did kill myself with exercise but I've not done that for quiite a while."

"I'm very comfortable with the age I am and the way I look."

Action Hero Hurt On Set

Bruce Willis ended up in hospital while filming the fourth Die Hard film after being kicked really hard reports The Sun.

Willis, 51, was cut above his right eye while shooting a fight scene for Live Free Or Die Hard, where he plays cop John McClane, who is battling internet terrorists.

He was taken to hospital in Los Angeles but stayed only briefly while he was patched up.He was back on set the next morning to contiue filming his scenes.

Williams Almost Missed Out On Ugly Betty

Vanessa Williams who plays Wilhelmina Slater in Ugly Betty has revealed that she almost missed out on her role in the show reports DigitalSpy.

The actress was considered by producers from the beginning but was unable to make it to the auditions in Los Angeles after losing her father.

Vanessa said: "We're a very close family and it completely rocked our world. We went away to Egypt, so I couldn't meet with the producers and they cast someone. Then I got a call, 'We want you to start tomorrow...' You just never know in this business."

Big Brother Eviction

Jo O'Meara and Cleo Rocos were evicted by the public last night in a suprise double eviction.
The evicted pair emerged from the BB house to a mixture of boos and cheers.

Jo denied she was racist. Referring to the comments she made about Shilpa, she said: "I didn't never mean it in that way. I'm not a racist. I know that I'm not. "I'm not going to deny that Shilpa did aggravate me a lot - you can't click with everybody, you meet. It's not because I'm racist."

On being shown the footage of the bullying antics, Jo said: "Oh my God."

She added that it "does look very bad", but insisted: "I am not a racist person at all. My cousin is married to an Indian man, and my cousins are half-Indian."

Asked by Davina about mocking Shilpa's cultural background, Jo said: "I didn't even know I was doing it."

She said she did not think that she had encouraged Jade in any way, adding: "I didn't mean to, if I did."

Asked how Shilpa would react to what has happened Cleo said "she will be horrified, embarrassed and, I think, baffled."

Shilpa Shetty, Dirk Benedict, Jack Tweed, Jermaine Jackson, Danielle Lloyd and Ian "H" Watkins will battle it out in tomorrows final.

The News of the World reveals that Robbie Williams has a close friendship with t Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Michelle Trachtenberg.

The 21-year-old, who played Buffy's sister Dawn Summers in the show, has been seen out with Williams, 32, for a few weeks now.

A source close to the pair said: "Robbie really likes Michelle — he especially loves her sense of humour. They're having a great time just hanging out."

The source source continued: "As we all know, Robbie doesn't have a high celebrity profile in the States despite many attempts to launch his career over there.

"So as far as Michelle is concerned, she's just spending time with a normal bloke from a place called Stoke. That's just how Rob likes it."

Britney Spears and Isaac Cohen have been going
together for about a month now. When I saw him,
I said " Britney Spears hooked back up with Kevin
Federline." But it turned out to be his stunt double.
Surely Ked has got some advice for the soon to be
Mr.Spears and step baby daddy. I genuinely feel sorry
for this guy. I mean anybody willing to take KFed's sloppy
seconds, and actually persue that exhasperated stretch
of skin that persperates between Britney's thighs has
got to be desperate for some action. The only beef I
have with this relationship is that they can never be
a Hollywod couple. Their names do not fit together
at all. Spohen? Cohitney? Brisaac? They are all
retarded. Nevertheless, KFed has some pointers
for this ex model and overpublisized paparazzi target.

1. Just because Britney is attractive now, doesn't mean
she will be in 2 weeks. She has a habit of sitting poolside
in a sunbathing chair and breaking out every square inch
of her face with acne and gaining 20 lbs. as soon as she
thinks she will have a man reguardless.

2.Before commiting to a long term relationship,
be ready to part with your career. Be it back up dancer
or model, dating Britney Spears is equal to cosigning your
profession to the dumpster as people will continually
see you as "that guy who was with Spears."

3. By dating Britney Spears you are taking responsibility
for her 2 sons. Sean and Jayden. That is a large reponsibility
and something 2 yearly photo layouts in GQ will not pay
for.

4. Do everyone a favor, and record a sex video. It makes great
leverage in a divorce trial and better than a 401k after your
inevitable split.

5.Once you are a nationally recognized figure, remember, no
matter how bright eyed young man you are, you will soon
be dubbed the most loathed celebrity in America. And
that only leaves you with D-list spots on cable.

Of course all of this news will end up being B-list info anyway.
Britney has continually dragged on, not making any new music
for her new album. Jive Records is threatening to drop her,
again. And so far she has done nothing but puke in pulic,
party with the worst crowd and ignore her kids. Even when
she does show up to record no one wants to get on the ball
cause they have no idea how to market it. I mean the phrase
"I'm not so innocent" isn't exactly the attitude of the month
when Paris Hilton is looking at you saying "that girl is fuckin
nuts she needs to calm down." The label is saying that they
are going to release her cd in late 2007. That sounds about right
for a cd that has been worked on for over 6 months.I keep
track of everything she does. And all I can say at the end of the day
is, we need new national hero.

Emma Bunton, 31 has announced that she is expecting a child with her partner Jade Jones who was a member of boy band Damage.

She has been dating the 27 year old for eight years reports the BBC.

Bunton aka Baby Spice said "I guess I will be handing over the 'Baby, tag now to a deserving little new owner."

According to sources the baby is due sometime in the summer.

Bubbly TV presenter Cat Deeley started off her career by sending in a tape of herself to a TV station. Such was the response that a stint on MTV followed, and that led, amongst other projects, to her appearance on children's Saturday morning TV stalwart SMTV Live, which ran for four years. She's currently presenting our coverage of the latest American Idol show, but here she is from the 2004 Brit Awards, looking fantastic in thigh boots, a top hat and fishnets.

Tyra's Million Dollar Body

Tyra Banks spoke to People Magazine about her body reports Sky.

Tyra, 33 told People magazine: "I get so much mail from young girls who say, 'I look up to you, you're not as skinny as everyone else'.”

She is talking about the time when she gained 30 pounds in 1997 which lead to headlines such as "America's Next Top Waddle" and "Tyra Pork Chops." She admits that reading those headlines did hurt

"So when they say that my body is ugly and disgusting, what does that make those girls feel like?

"I still feel hot, but every day is different. It's when I put on the jeans that used to fit a year ago and don't fit now and give me the muffin top, that's when I say, 'damn!'"

Tyra, who is 5'10", said she fluctuates anywhere from 148 to 162 pounds.

She admitted: "I feel more comfortable when I'm lighter - I sleep better, I snore less, I have more endurance when I work out, my arms look better."

But, the TV host/model isn't one bit ashamed about gaining weight: "I've made millions of dollars with the body I have, so where's the pain in that?

“If I was in pain, I would have dieted. The pain is not there - the pain is someone printing a picture of me and saying those things.”

"(TV executives) think it's better when I'm at 155 pounds - at 145, they feel I'm not as relatable."

Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll.

The Pussycat Dolls are looking for a new member. The judges on the show are Robin Antin, who created the Dolls almost 12 years ago; Geffen Records executive Ron Fair; and rapper Lil' Kim.

"I was born a Pussycat Doll," says Lil Kim. "Everything the Pussycat Dolls are is everything that I've developed myself into being."

Show director McG says Lil' Kim's name came up when "we got to thinking about who embodies the idea of a Pussycat Doll as far as definitely comfortable in her own skin, owns it, not in the service of any man, doing it for her own reasons, powerful, sexy and sort of like a snapshot of the contemporary woman, being everything she can be."

Robin Antin, the show judge who founded the group says "when the Pussycat Dolls heard that Lil' Kim was going to be a part of this, every single one of our girls was just beside themselves with excitement."

Casting calls will take place in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago and Miami and other cities over the next month.

Corrie Tackles Racist Storyline

Coronation Street bosses are expecting a Celebrity Big Brother style backlash over a storyline about a bullied foreign worker reports The Mirror.

Wanda Opalinska will play Polish immigrant Vicki, who gets a job at the Underworld factory.

But Kelly and Joanne sabotage her sewing machine and bitch about the "foreign invasion", while factory bosses Liam and Paul laugh about paying "little Polish pay packets".

An insider said: "The scripts were done before the furore over Celebrity Big Brother and its bullying and racist content.

"There will be scenes where viewers think she is being picked on because of where she is from, we are mindful of people pointing the finger at how we portray her but the Street is never afraid to tackle sensitive issues."

Brandy Causes Fatal Crash

Singer/Actress Brandy Norwood was involved in a fatal car crash and has reportedly admitted fault reports TMZ.com.

According to reports, the singer was driving her Land Rover on California's 405 freeway on 30 December 2006 when she failed to notice cars in front of her were slowing down.

Brandy braked late and collided with a Toyota, which in turn hit another car before striking the central divider. The Toyota was then hit by another car. The driver of the Toyota was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in critical condition and later died.

TMZ.com is also reporting that Brandy has admitted to being at fault in the fatal accident. In an exclusive conversation with the man driving directly behind Brandy at the time of her fateful crash, TMZ.com reports that the singer repeatedly blamed herself at the scene of the accident.
TMZ has more: '"She got upset, talking about how it was all her fault ... she didn't stop, kept saying how she hit the lady," says the witness.

He added, "Brandy walked in front of traffic, crossing the lanes of speeding cars, then she did it again. People were honking at her to get out of the road. She was obviously disoriented and highly upset."

The witness also claims he tried to calm the hysterical singer, and even dished out some legal advice, saying he advised her to stop admitting guilt. He also consoled her by repeatedly saying "It was an accident."'

Katie Price Calls Jade "A Nasty Bitch"

Katie Price aka Jordan has called Jade Goody an "ugly, talentless pig with no manners" after the way she behaved in the Big Brother house.

"I hope Jade gets what's coming to her - she's a nasty bitch and she's a liar herself," she wrote.

"They shouldn't get away with bullying Shilpa like that. I was disgusted by the show." Price also called housemates Danielle and Jo "horrible, bitchy girls".

In other Big Brother news:
Cleo, Dirk, Ian, Jo and Shilpa are all facing the vote in a surprise double eviction.They are unaware that two of them will be evicted from the house. Jermaine, Jack and Danielle are now assured places in the grand final on Sunday.
