Landi Swanepoel (30 de ani) a fost aleasa sa reprezinte imaginea Cupei Mondiale din Africa 2010 - Landi s-a nascut la Cape Town, la 08 octombrie1979.

A devenit cunoscuta datorita campaniei pentru Guess?, insa consacrarea a venit dupa rolul "Sylviei" din reclama Peroni Nastro Azzurro si al "Anitei Ekberg" in filmul La dolce Vita a lui Federico Fellini.

Landi Swanepoel a fost decoperita abia la 19 ani, pe cand se afla la cumparaturi alaturi de mama sa, moment in care a devenit model... pentru Chanel, Land Rover, apoi in FHM sau Maxim.

Swanepoel a aparut si in editia pentru Africa de Sud a revistei Sports Illustrated. A fost comparata mai tot timpul cu Brigitte Bardot, pe vremea cand actrita franceza era tanara!


Nu exista nici o legatura cu Candice Swanepoel, care este tot un model celebru.
