Sugababe Arrested Over Car Attack

Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah has been arrested after an alleged attack on a car in Hampshire, reports BBC.

Police confirmed a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and a public order offence after an incident on 9 January.

She was bailed to appear at Aldershot police station on 21 February.

Her boyfriend Freddie Fuller is recovering after being attacked with a machete last month. Amelle the successful girl group in 2005.

Mutya Reveals Sugababes Rejection

Mutya Buena has revealed that her attempt to reconcile with the Sugababes was rejected by her former bandmates.

Buena left the group in December 2005, but when she went to meet her former bandmates Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range in early 2006, things didn't go well.

She told The Guardian: "I actually went down there with Keisha. I wanted to meet Amelle. I said hello and then I wasn't allowed to see them after because apparently Heidi was shocked and upset and I made Amelle feel out of place and put them all off their performance."

"It took me to get up out of my bed to come and show there's no hard feelings and I got it pushed right back in my face so I thought, 'Forget it'. I haven't really spoken to them since."

Sugababe Claims To Be Innocent

Amelle Berrabah , 23, who was arrested after a fight in a bar claimed: "I'm the innocent party."

According to the Mirror, Amelle told friends she was "devastated" over the brawl with a gang of 12 girls and guys.

Amelle was with her sister Laila, 24 when the fight broke out.

The singer who is now in the US with her fellow Sugababes - Keisha and Heidi - said, "The other girls should be the ones punished, not me. What happened was unbelievable and my sister got hit by one of the boys."

Amelle was arrested as she ripped out a girl's hair extensions. She spent a night in the cells. Police said they were looking at CCTV and "continuing enquiries".

Sugababe Arrested

Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah has been arrested over allegations that she assaulted an 18-year-old woman.

The incident is said to have happened in a bar in Surrey on Saturday night.

A soucre told the Mirror, "By the end of the scuffle, Amelle had a handful of hair extensions."

Amelle, 23, spent the night in a police cell, but was released on bail the next morning so that she could join her bandmates Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range on a flight to the US.

A police spokesperson said: “A 23-year-old female was arrested following an incident at a Guildford town centre bar. She was questioned and released on bail pending further enquiries.”

Ex Sugababe Speaks Out

Mutya Buena claims that she was "pressurised" into making her decision to leave the Sugababes.

Mutya, 21, told RTW, "What would have been perfect would be if the girls had left me a tiny bit alone and stopped pressuring me. If they'd just given me a bit more time, I'd love to still be in the Sugababes."

"Me and Heidi haven't spoken since I left. I did try to make peace by going down to CD:UK but I didn't quite get a good response."

"I don't read whatever the girls say anymore - I'm not that interested - but I did try to talk to them. Heidi was supposedly too hurt to talk to me."

Mutya made a decision to leave the group in December 2005 - when she was pregnant - and is now working on her solo career.

Mutya was replaced by Amelle, to join Heidi and Keisha as the new Sugababe.

Sugababe Still Not Talking To Former 'Babe

Ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena has revealed that she never talks to her former bandmate Heidi Range.

Mutya quit the Sugababes in 2005 to focus her attention on raising her daughter Tahlia Maya.

She told RWD: "Me and Heidi haven't spoken since I left [the group] I did try to make peace with her but I didn't get a good response."

Mutya returned to the charts last November with 'This Is Not Real Love', a duet with George Michael.

She is now working on her debut album Real Girl, which is should be out later this year.

Sugababe Wants To Adopt

Sugababes sinfer Keisha Buchanan was so moved by street children she met during a recent trip to South Africa that she wants to adopt, reports DigitalSpy.

" [I] understand why Madonna felt compelled to adopt. It is definitely something I would consider one day."

Sugababes - live and in latex!

If the video for their new single didn't elevate your blood pressure enough, here are the Sugababes...er, babes, performing live at the Astoria a few nights ago. The audience were treated to a fantastic fetish display: latex dresses, high heels, gloves, and a fabulous pair of lace-up latex trousers on Keisha. Now why couldn't they have made their TV appearances in these outfits? :)
