Sharon Osbourne Attacks @ Charm School

Don't mess with Sharon... Megan learnt the hard way after she insulted Ozzy.

X Factor 'Dream' For Danni Without Sharon

Dannii Minogue has revealed that filming the new series of The X Factor has been "a dream" without Sharon Osbourne.

Speaking to The Sun, Minogue said that sitting on the judging panel had been uncomfortable due to her rocky relationship with Osbourne.

She said, "It's just a dream. It's a very different set. No more eyes down during commercial breaks trying not to look tense. It wasn't the sort of environment I wanted to be in."

Minogue and Osbourne were rumoured to have been constantly at odds during the last series of the ITV show. Osbourne quit as an X Factor judge earlier this month and was replaced by Cheryl Cole.

Minogue added that she hopes to build a positive relationship with Cole:,"We started off on a good foot. I went to her dressing room and said, 'Welcome to the set, let's have some fun'."

New Judge Cheryl Cole Paid Less

Cheryl Cole was announed as the new X Factor judge after Sharon Osbourne quit (rumour had it that Sharon wanted more money). Girls Aloud singer Cheryl will earn less than HALF the amount of fellow judge Dannii Minogue for her role on The X Factor, reports Sunday Mirror.

Dannii managed to get herslef a pay-rise and will earn £600,000 for her work while Cheryl will pocket £250,000 for her part in the ITV1 series.

A production insider said: "Cheryl is thrilled to be on The X Factor and was happy with her deal - it's still a huge amount of money.

Geordie Cheryl was drafted in to replace Sharon Osbourne, 55, who quit the series after four years when she gave Simon Cowell an ultimatum: "It's Dannii or me" ...and lost.

Cheryl said: "Although it's scary joining a huge programme like The X Factor, it's a massive honour to be following in the footsteps of Sharon Osbourne."

Sharon Osbourne Quits X Factor

Sharon Osbourne has quit her role as a judge on The X Factor after four years of working on the show.

A statement released by ITV confirmed that she would not be returning for this summer's series and said, "She has been a tremendous judge and mentor on the programme but we respect her wish to leave and wish her the very best with her future projects."

With auditions due to begin soon it is thought that the hunt is on for a replacement judge. Names rumoured include Paula Abdul and Lulu.

Minogue Felt "Bullied" By Sharon & Louis

Dannii Minogue has blasted Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh for their attempts to "bully" her on the set of The X Factor.

The Aussie singer admitted that she struggled to cope with Sharon and Louis's treatment of her when she joined the show last year.

"I was so happy just to be happy when I got that job," Dannii told Celebs on Sunday magazine. "And then I found myself having to find a lot of strength to get through the day. I remember the first day I was like a scared mouse, especially when I realised Sharon had some personal mission against me. It grew as the show went on, and I still to this day have no idea why."

"I can only guess that it's jealousy, because there's nothing else I can pin it down to. There were a lot of days when I felt like I was being bullied."

Minogue confirmed that Simon Cowell has become a "close friend" since they worked together on the programme, but she is not looking forward to seeing Osbourne and Walsh again when filming for the new series starts next month.

"I'm hoping I can find it funny this time because last time, some days, it really wasn't funny," Dannii explained. "I'm just so thankful it wasn't just me, Sharon and Louis otherwise I don't think I'd be going back to work."

Cowell Threatens X Factor Judges With The Sack

Simon Cowell has threatened to sack X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue if they do not learn to get along.

Sharon and Dannii's feud was the topic on everyone's lips during last year's (boring) series. The pair denied any rumours of a conflict despite reports of backstage bust-ups.

However, the pair's rivalry became public when Dannii complained that Sharon and Louis Walsh were trying to bully her. Sharon was then criticisied by Simon after she mocked Danni and claimed that the Aussie star was only hired for her looks.

A source told The Sun, "It's nearly contract time again. Sharon said she doesn't want to come back with Dannii - and Dannii said she doesn't want to work with Sharon."

"But Simon has banged both their heads together and told them, 'If you don't shut up - I can replace you both'. They don't have to be best friends - but they do have to work together."

The insider added, "Bosses know that viewers were hooked on the backstage battles between Sharon and Dannii and they want to keep them both on board - it makes for very interesting TV."

Louis Walsh was axed before last year's series and replaced by Brian Friedman. However Friedman later found another position on the show and Walsh returned to The X Factor.

FYI Those Houses Were Not Theirs

Louis Walsh has admitted that the 'judges' houses' that were shown on The X Factor were not really theirs, reports Digital Spy.

When the X Factor contestants travelled to four different places to find out if they will get through to the next round we assumed that the judges took the wannabes to their respective houses.

The groups visited Simon Cowell in Marbella, the boys went to see Dannii Minogue in Ibiza, the girls flew to Los Angeles to meet Sharon Osbourne, while the Over-25s were taken to Dublin by Louis Walsh.

But Walsh revealed on the Graham Norton Show that the houses featured did not belong to any of the judges.

He said, "That wasn't my house. That wasn't Sharon's house or Dannii's house or Simon's house either.

"Sharon sold her house to Christina Aguilera, so that was a rented house. Mine was a rented house. I wouldn't have had all that rubbish in my house - the stuff on the walls and the lights and all that."

A spokesperson for the ITV show said: "The contestants are invited to a house. We call them the judges' houses, not the judges' homes.”

"We have never said they are the judges' real homes and it has been this way for the past four years."

The Spat Factor

Sharon Osbourne has been involved in a number of bust-ups with her fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue.

Apparently Sharon is furious that Dannii has joined the panel for the new series, because she does not like sharing the spotlight with the Aussie singer.

An ITV source told The People: "Sharon is acting like a cow and poor Dannii doesn't know what's hit her. Sharon's nose has been well and truly put out of joint by the arrival of Dannii. In previous series she has been the star of the show."

The People reveals that Dannii burst into tears after a heated row with Sharon at the Manchester auditions, and the pair refused to speak to each other at boot camp.

A spokesman for Sharon said, "Naturally there is rivalry as they want to win. But they have a mutual respect for each other. Any barbs are in jest."

X Factor Judges Revealed

Dannii Minogue and Brian Friedman are to join The X Factor's judging panel.

The pair will join judges Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne - after Louis Walsh was axed.

Choreographer Friedman, who is currently a judge on 'Grease Is The Word' said, "I’m flattered...”

Singer Danni Minogue said, "I can’t wait to be part of The X Factor team and get up close and personal on a daily basis with Simon.

Dermot O'Leary will also make his debut as the show's host, replacing Kate Thornoton.

X Factor Reduces Sharon To Tears

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that his wife Sharon is often reduced to tears by The X Factor.

Sharon becomes so attached to the hopefuls that she mentors that she reacts bitterly when one of them is eliminated.

Ozzy told Heat: "Sharon gets so involved with it...The X Factor. When one of them got booted off, she'd come home and get into bed and start going: 'Boo hoo, boo hoo!' Three in the f**king morning! I'm like, 'What the f**k!'"

Sharon Uses Her Foul Mouth To Hit Back At Rock Star

Sharon Osbourne has hit back at Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme after he recently criticised the Osbourne family's annual music festival.

He said he would never play at the Ozzfest again because "they treat the bands like s**t".

Sharon hit back telling a magazine, "I hope he gets syphilis and dies. I hope his d*** f***ing falls off so his mother can eat it."

Sharon Accuses Simon Of Acting Like A Coward

Sharon Osbourne has accused Simon Cowell of acting like a coward, after X Factor's Louis Walsh and Kate Thornton were given the axe.

Sharon insists that the decision to sack fellow judge Louis Walsh and host Kate Thornton was made by Cowell, despite his claims that he was forced to ditch them by ITV executives.

Sharon told The Mirror, "After knowing Louis for over 20 years, Simon should have had the guts to tell him to his face that he was going to get fired."

"I was completely shocked. It was a harsh and unfair thing to do. The very least he could have done is to have told Louis and Kate rather than pretend it was all down to the producers."

"Simon makes all the decisions and what he says goes."
"All he had to say was 'You know what, we want to shake things up and bring in new faces, no hard feelings'. I feel desperately sorry for Kate. Simon hasn't even bothered to call her about it."

Sharon is also a judge on the show along with Simon. Now that Louis has been axed, two new judges will be brought in to keep the show "fresh." There will also be a new presenter now that Kate Thornton has been taken off the X Factor.
