Dancing On Ice star
Jayne Torvill will skate alone for the first time in 35 years on tonight's show as her partner
Christopher Dean recovers from
surgery, reports
Daily Mail.
He will appear on Dancing On Ice as a mentor but will not perform his usual dance routine with Torvill, 50, at the opening of the ITV show.
Dean said, "It'll be odd for me to see Jayne skate on her own - I'll be itching to get out there on the ice with her."
Torvill, 50, admitted being
nervous about skating solo in public for the first time.
She said, "This week will be odd to be out there on my own. I might feel a bit lonely."
"But Chris has choreographed my routine and I swear he's given me one that's harder than ever."
Chris, 49 should be back on the ice next week.
