Friends Film Rumour False

There are no plans for a rumoured big-screen version of Friends, film studio Warner Bros has told the BBC.

Since the success of the Sex and the City movie, it was rumoured that Friends would make it to the big screen, but Warner Bros' director of publicity in the UK, Jayne Trotman, said there was "no truth in the story".

Friends Heading To The Big Screen?

A big screen adaptation of Friends is being lined up for release within the next 18 months, accroding to Daily Mail.

Apparently the spinoff movie has been inspired by the success of the Sex And The City movie.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow are all said to be keen to reprise their roles in the film.

"The box office success of Sex And The City has really got their wheels spinning about how a Friends film could be just as big, if done right," said a source.

The insider added, "What's held back a Friends movie so far is that people worried that Jennifer had simply become too famous to play Rachel again."

"But the truth is that Jennifer is finally willing to do it, and she'd love to work with that whole team of actors and producers again."

Courteney Cox Slams Paparazzi

Courteney Cox has hit out at photographers who constantly invade her family's privacy.

The 'Dirt' actress said she was furious when snappers followed her to the funeral of a friend's son.

The 43-year-old and husband David Arquette also struggle to cope with paparazzi taking pictures of their three-year-old daughter Coco.

She told New!, "David gets upset if photographers try to take pictures when we're with Coco."

"The worst place was at a funeral for a friend's son. The paparazzi followed me there, and it was just horrible."

Cox Defends Britney Spoof On Dirt

Courteney Cox has defended her plan to use Britney Spears' recent troubles as the inspiration for a storyline in her hit show Dirt.

The actress intends to spoof Spears' problems in the FX drama, in which she plays the editor of a celebrity magazine.

The singer's high-profile divorce and custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline will provide inspiration for material in the second series, as well as her infamous hair-shaving incident.

A source said earlier this month: "Courteney can’t wait to give the Britney character a major smack-down on camera."

However, Cox denied that she intended to criticise Spears, saying: "This is not an attack on Britney. I am not out to offend anyone."

Cox & Arquette Would "Battle" Over Surgery

Courteney Cox has revealed that her marriage to David Arquette may be ruined if she ever goes under the knife.

The Dirt actress is a supporter of cosmetic surgery but her husband of eight years is against the idea.

She said: "[If I did that] it would be a battle between the two of us. He doesn't like any of that stuff. I think it's easy when you're a boy to say that."

Arquette is in not in favour of seeing his wife having anything done; he said, "I like how smiles make wrinkles."
