Bedingfield Denies Snubbing UK Fans

Natasha Bedingfield has insisted that she is not turning her back on her UK fans.

The singer faced criticism after she was forced to cancel a British tour because she was busy promoting her album Pocketful of Sunshine in the US - which debuted at #3 in the US Billboard charts.

Natasha told the Daily Star, "I'm not abandoning anyone. It just happened that my album had to come out in the US now."

"England is still my home and I want to be successful here. It's important for my English fans to know that I do care about them. That's why I'm busy video blogging all the time to keep in touch."

The 'Unwritten' singer added, "I'm going to announce a gig for fans who bought tickets to my tour and it will be free."

No US Accent For Natasha

Natasha Bedingfield has insisted that she will not be adopting an American accent, despite living in the US for a year and a half.

According to DigitalSpy, the 'Unwritten' singer refuses to follow in the footsteps of fellow artists such as Joss Stone, who turned up to the BRIT Awards with a LA accent.

Natasha claims she has so far withstood the pressures from various camps to adopt the local accent, and is adamant she will not attempt to sell records by pretending to be American in the States.

She said, "I haven't picked up an accent, unlike other people, I was hardly going to come back with a full accent. I love my English one too much."
