Foxy Sends Letter To Get Out Of Jail

Foxy Brown is currently serving a year-long prison sentence (for an assault charge), but she has asked a New York judge for an early release to treat an ear condition she fears could threaten her hearing.

In a four-page handwritten letter to Judge Melissa Jackson; Brown wrote, "I ask you to please take into consideration that my health is in jeopardy. Yes, I've made some bad choices and stupid mistakes. But please understand that sitting in a prison with murderers and criminals is not rehabilitating or what I need to deal with my inner issues."

The 29-year-old also wrote, "Up until now, you've only heard about Foxy Brown the artist. I'd like to show you Inga Marchand the beautiful person that my mum raised me to be. Jail has shaken me to my core, and my time away has impacted me greatly."

Foxy Misses Bus To Court; 3 Times!

Foxy Brown was due in court today but didn't turn up. You'd think it would be easy to make sure Foxy gets to court seeing as she is in prison.

According to TMZ the 'Don Diva' was supposed to get on a bus that came to pick her up so that she could attend the hearing; but Foxy decided not to get on because her hair and makeup weren't done.

A second bus was then arranged but Foxy, real name Inga Marchand, never got on because she was hungry. A third bus was scheduled but Foxy missed that too.

Just pick her up and throw her in the damn bus!

The judge has now set a new hearing date of October 16th and if she chooses not to get on the bus then he would issue an order forcing her to get on.

Also her mother had gone to court so that she could see her outside of prison; but Foxy did not show.

Jailed Foxy Brown Is Not Pregnant

Last month defense lawyers told a judge that Foxy was three months pregnant. Foxy herself told the NY Post, "I'm getting married in September. I'm pregnant!"

But today Foxy's manager said, "And to the pregnancy rumors, this is the official statement: She is not pregnant."

Last month a judge sentenced the rapper - real name Inga Marchand - to a year in prison for violating her probation, after she was arrested for hitting her neighbour with a BlackBerry.

Foxy Brown will spend the next year in jail for violating her probation.

Foxy's pleas for mercy were denied. Judge Melissa Jackson called Foxy a "great actress."

TMZ adds, that if the pregnant rapper ends up serving her full term then she will give birth in prison.

According to TMZ, a Judge in Manhattan Criminal Court ruled that Brown should remain behind bars until her court hearing due to repeated violations of her probation.

The rapper was given three years' probation in 2006 for assaulting two manicurists back in 2004.

Brown, 27, was accused earlier this week of lying to police about personal details during a traffic stop in New Jersey in July.

Brown, real name Inga Marchand, was driving while talking on her mobile and drove through a stop sign, according to police. She was driving on a suspended licence.

It is also alleged that the pregnant star recently attacked a neighbour with a mobile phone.

The New York Post quoted Brown saying, "I'm getting married in September. I'm pregnant."

Foxy Brown Turns Herself In

Foxy Brown turned herself into New York police because she assaulted her neighbour with a mobile phone last month.

The 'Chyna Doll' rapper was charged with felony assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon, according to authorities reports Digital Spy.

Foxy, 27, hit her neighbour with a Blackberry according to TMZ.

She is due to appear in court on September 26.

Earlier this Foxy - real name Inga Marchand - she was also charged with assault at a beauty store in Florida.

Foxy's Road Rage

Last week in Brooklyn a young mother claimed that Foxy Brown almost ran her over along with her baby who was in a pushchair.

To make matters worse the troubled rapper should not be behind the wheel anyway as her driving license has been revoked for failing to respond to summonses.

The almost-victim said, "I jumped back, pulling the stroller, and yelled at the driver, 'You should watch where you're going!' She cursed at me and proceeded to drive down..."

"I called the police, but they said that they couldn't do anything because she didn't actually hit me."

Foxy was in a silver Range Rover when this happened.

Foxy Is A Wanted Girl!

TMZ reports that there is a warrant out for the arrest of Foxy Brown.

The rapper failed to appear in Broward County court today on battery charges. She is facing the charges because Foxy was applying beauty products in the store's bathroom, but when the owner tried to close up shop, Brown allegedly threw a tantrum and threw hair glue at the owner, then allegedly spat on him.

After it became apparent that Brown was not going to appear, Judge Lazurus issued a bench warrant for her arrest.

Foxy Banned For Eating Without Paying

Foxy Brown [real name Inga Marchand] has been banned from a New York City restaurant after regularly eating at the establishment and walking out without paying her bill.

The owner of Junior's Restaurant is furious with Foxy for repeatedly eating, but not coughing up.

Owner Alan Rosen told the New York Post, "She comes to Junior's because she likes the food, but she doesn't want to pay for it!"

On Friday night, she walked out on a $53 bill before a member of her entourage came back and offered to pay. A manager on duty at the time said, "Look, don't pay for it, just don't come back."

The rapper also reportedly failed to pay her $200 bill on Tuesday, and another bill the week before that. They decided to ban her for two reasons, "One, she tries to skip out on checks and, two, she's not polite."

Manager Hasting Strainrod adds, "First of all, none of the waiters want to serve her because she is known for cursing people out. I don't know, I think she needs therapy. She's been coming in for years, and it's always a little drama."

Foxy Brown [Inga Marchand] claims that she was a victim of police brutality when she was arrested on battery charges at a beauty store in Florida last week, reports the BBC.

She held a press conference at a Baptist church in Brooklyn to deny police claims that she spat on the store owner and resisted an officer.

Brown, 27 claims that she was dragged out "half-exposed" from the store's bathroom when she was arrested. She also said was picked on because she's black, and the only crime she was guilty of was being a "young, black woman."

The rapper denies charges of resisting an officer and simple battery.

She could be sent to jail when she appears in court later this week for violating probation.

Foxy Brown Arrested [Again]

Rapper Foxy Brown was arrested in Florida yesterday for battery and obstruction of justice.

TMZ has the rapper's mugshot which was taken on Thursday.

Foxy [real name is Inga Marchand] was booked by Pembroke Pines Police Department after a disturbance at a beauty supply shop.

According to the Broward County Sheriff's Office, Foxy was held on $1,500 bail for the two offenses.

Brown was sentenced in New York last October to three years probation and anger management classes for assaulting two nail technicians.

Brown was ordered to stay away from the manicurists for the next five years.
