
The actor "woke up and escorted him outside," apparently without a struggle, and then called the police said the local district attorney's spokeswoman Farrah Emami.
Police arrived and arrested the man, Robert Furo. He was charged with residential burglary to which he plead not guilty. He was then remanded to custody. He is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing on October 10, reports TMZ.
According to BBC, the intruder was naked and was wearing nothing apart from a leather jacket which belonged to Cage. Furo was released on bail of $50,000 (£24,400).
Cage's wife and son were also in the home at the time.
