Gerrard was glad to talk about his undoubted devotion to Alex, mother of his two girls Lily Ella and Lexie.
"We've fixed a date for our wedding next summer.Alex is an adorable person and I can't wait to marry her.",said Steven.
The invitations have been sent out to family and friends of the couple, who many expected to marry in their native Merseyside.Gerrard said:"It's going to be a big bash down south in June with over 200 guests. I'm going to invite all of the England players and all of my Liverpool team-mates." He said the kids are going to be playing a big part in the wedding too:"Our two beautiful daughters are going to be bridesmaids. I want Alex to have the best day of her life."
Their daughters Lily Ella and Lexie are expected to be bridesmaids and the event is expected to be a lavish affair with the couple selling the rights to a glossy magazine.
The couple have chosen the same day to wed as team-mates Gary Neville and Michael Carrick, so are likely to face face stiff competition in attracting guests from the footballing world.
